Yea howl, but i think he literally meant on trial version. There will be beta version, but after release of the game, there must be trial version also.

ok, i am just wondering what would be a newbie's impression if he plays dota for only 10 days, i mean, he doesnt gets a chance to learn the game so maybe he will get owned and not like it (?)

I really think that it should have one time fee ( I also don't mind buying new hero skins,nameplates etc.) but being free or paying monthly is NO!

I'm sure we would all love for it to be free to play ala alien swarm but how lucky would we as a community have to be!
A one time fee would be the next best thing, but sometimes this can stifle the growth of a game community because it creates a barrier for entry to people who may not be familiar with the game/genre and don't really want to spend money on it. (like league of legends)
but what ever the case I'm in.

i honestly dont mind paying a once off. LIke i said in the Blog thing, in my country games are very expensive, im just not looking forward to paying R700 bucks for the games.
