Cause of the fact who is behind the development of game, i will surelly play it no matter of what. And i would not mind if i actually give some money for that.

What do you guys think?

Well i will surelly play the game. DotA 1 is a great game and i would not mind paying some cash to play DotA2 as long as Ice keeps developing it!

Of course. I also had to pay for Warcraft 3, so its k in my opinion. But if you have to pay every month like WoW i wont buy it...

yeah i will pay currently playing HoN. Once you keep updating it and stuff i am game for dota 2

yes! ofcourse! I suppose that DotA 2 will be worthy continuation of the DotA! And I'll pay for it surely.

Yeah, that's what scares me. But I really doubt that we ll have to pay every month. For example, you don't have to pay every month to play extremely popular games like CoD, CS or Guild Wars, which in my opinion have same or more players than DotA at this time. That would be really bad move from Valve. Really bad.

Monthly would cause them to lose a lot of people. More then likely they are going to charge a one time fee to buy the game itself and if thats the case I'm all for it.

LoL and HoN are worthless games as of right now due to horrible communities. That's what you get for not hiring appropriate moderators!

I played both for some time and I must admit that they are not total fails. There are actually people who play them pretty hardcore. But what's bad, we all know that they were developed for fast money.. I don't have nothing against copies, but then if there is one or two, I expect from them to be extra good.

You won't pay for one time fee or for monthly fee?

ill cough up as much as it takes to play, dota 1 was an ever day thing for me until the community faltered and bots took over games.

also LoL has a good community

So, to sum up, you are definitly willing to pay for the game, as long as it's one time fee.

I wouldn't mind paying for it. Although Valve runs their games through Steam now which a bit of a hassle for some people due to Steam having a quirky UI and troubleshooting setting.

I wouldn't mind paying a one-time fee.
Only online Valve game I've played is L4D2. Steam is kind of a hassle. I'm sure there will be some way to determine skill level though.

i payed 30 for dota, no doubt ill pay for dota 2 by valve and ICEFROG plus i want to support

i would pay a flat fee not montly
