| I was recently invited to a beta testing, and have posted a fairly lengthy (30 minutes) opinion on the comparison of LoL to another moba in the genre.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieIYmXHMFI8
Let me know what you think, and please keep the flaming to a minimum, these are both moba games simply developed by 2 different companies, everyone is entitled to their opinion on them! |

| Hahaha, good hearing comments from a fellow LoL player( I played LoL HoN LOCO and DoTA ) Agree with you on most of it... Leaver system: There is a leaver reporting system whereby you can reward the leavers with leaver points But not many are doing it. Matchmaking: Agree that there are some pros who stomp newbs. I would really suggest them to put us in leagues after several league placement matches like SCII(That so far is the best... IMO) The rest, I fully agree |

| Thanks for the reply and filling in some missing information! I'm sure the leaver and matchmaking systems will be worked out by the time the game is out of beta, which is why I didn't really count them as points against the game. |

| This issue I have with this review(keep in mind this is just my opinion) is that LoL and Dota are two very, VERY different games! I do respect you for not trolling in this review. I was expecting to hear something a lot different.
It's a solid first impression video and has valid points. I will say that anyone who watches this "FI" taken it as such. |

Thank you for your input, I'm not sure I understand saying they are very different games, they are similiar in just about every aspect and included in the same genre of gaming, I'm not sure how much more similiar games can become without being exact copies. |

I have stopped with comparing those two games cause of the reasons you said. It's like someone compares Cod 2 and CS. They ARE both fps games, but are too different to make objective comparison and to say - that game is better - at the end. |

| You can compare everything. It is tough or impossible to say what is better though. What is better? The collective opinion of the masses of the subjective opinion of the intellectuals?
I can compare apples to oranges. Apples are "safer" fruits as way too many oranges are crappy, even if they look good on the outside. Oranges are cool because they are easier to split up if you want to share it. There you go, even the two things from the saying of not being able to compare things are possible to compare. It is the most stupid saying there is though ^^. |

They ARE both fps games, but are too different to make objective comparison and to say - that game is better - at the end. That is a good example to go off of:) I personally like Dota 2 better because it fits my gaming style. I played LoL from beta and let me tell you....that game brings out my rage so bad! It's frustrating to play, the player base is just terrible, and the lack of balance is bloody horrid! I know people will disagree with me but they are 100% wrong. That may be a completely arrogant statement and makes me sound like an asshole but that's how I feel. Where dota 1 and dota 2 I have fun and when I get mad about something it's a good thing. It normally is my fault and I know what I did wrong. So it's a hummois kind of anger. The kind that makes you go, "damn it" but laughing as your saying it. In LoL....no....you just scream fuck you shaco, Xin, Terrible feeding Yi, Mord, Ram, trynd, etc.... 9 times out of 10 your death is caused by a unbalanced champ, or some bullshit your team did. The game is a whole different type of game. I'd go on but I don't want to turn this into a bash LoL thread. Is that tapatalk app worth your time btw? |

| My brother and I had been playing Dota for years. He played Dota before I did and I remember he was a good Dota player, but then came LoL, he said it was similar to Dota and he stopped playing with me. I tried LoL but for some reason I didn't like it, so I discovered HoN and I began to play it, it was like Dota but way faster. My brother and I separated, he kept playing LoL only and I played only HoN and for a time it was good. But one day Dota2 appeared so my brother and I tried to play Dota in battle.net and he realized he had no skill anymore and it was difficult to him to get accostumed to the game again. For me it was different, it was even easier. I've noticed that many people comming from LoL doesn't know how to play this game, which is understandable because they are 2 different games.
