5- 6 points 13/1/2012 - 12/2/2012

12-13 points 13/10/2011 - 12/11/2012
14-15 points 13/9/2011 - 12/10/2011

i think both of them will be the biggest factor to determine you are get invitational beta key or not

Can someone please explain to me how i can apply for a Dota 2 beta key, do i have to sign up through steam, iv'e had a steam account for like 7 years so should be easy for me if so. cheers

How are they (Valve) gonna test for ''How active are you in competitive scene of Dota1'' if this test would be real?

It means if you have been in any pro clans on tournaments I think WB Bazinga long time no see

It sucks not having any games on steam.. only got steam for dota 2 >.>

those are just speculations.

I honestly think that Beta singup was just to get people to get there steam accounts going for now and make people think "oh I have to be active to get the key" so they'll buy games off steam and sing up for pre orders etc = more money for Valve. Cunning buggers aren't they? Also means they can start logging what specs people have and base Dota 2 on that (yes, steam checks your PC's specs, saves it and sends it to Valve). That one tournement that cost them probably 10 million has saved them easily 100 million in normal advertising. When you look at it from that angle. . .that is a smart company.
