Why not try giving the rights(for links only) to those who have a +1 rep? Those who introduce themselves will have the right to add links into the forum and gain a +1 rep. Those however who want to contribute for news have to gain a little bit more rep(i.e. 5 or 8?) and it can be gained by sending information that is useful to our community to the mods. The mods will pump their reps after a number of contributions and they are free to post their news.

Gotta make a use for every system we have here, rep and others.

Ok this is not the worst idea but it's not the best cause you can get rep for various stuff and random talk so I do not agree with it.

Make it into a different rep category. Moderator's only rep. Otherwise we just go for Senior Members and Junior Members(or however you want to call them)

Ok, so i see what the point of the 7 day thing is, but i have seen that new members always figure out to put a space or something, lol, i guess it can just be a bit annoying but not enough to stop them from joining ...? Something else Ava can try is to remove it for a period of time and see if spam is still lurking our internetz forum, but surely he wont xD

THE NEWS THING! yep, i have an idea to fix that but apparently Avalon is happy enough with the way it is, and it is not bad. Usually members that cant post there dont hesitate to post news under "Dota info" or something like that, haha. Also imagine in case we get a lot of members, the amount of double posts and more that could happen at the time something important happens, and with a lot of messy threads xP

and i dont see why should stuff that is working well should be changed, just to change it, lol. Seriously, if something is good, there is no need to change it to something else because it is good, and can be also more complicated.

This will be regarding the modification of the profiles
Preview of signatures should be in the post format not bigger or smaller. This will allow the community to modify their signatures to the extent that they exactly want Smile

Whew, having a hard time with batteryless mouse getting here. And yeah agreed. Wut's wrong with ur signature. Try removing the equals and names, see whether it works. Then add in without the " ".

yea i know, there's something wrong because even when I preview the signature (it asks you to), it looks fine. But when I post it doesn't quote correctly.
