I've played too many RTS's where it's always on, so I'm just used to it, and time last hits by mashing h. But off definitely has its advantages when you want to hide, when you want to not have to constantly issue commands to stop autoattacking.

Auto attack kept sending my character off in the wrong direction, and I personally don't have trouble getting last hits. I don't know about other people, but I definitely saw an improvement in my play with it turned off.

ive disabled auto-attack because im play as a support. its pretty useful when playing as sniper. just stand there, and with just enough timing, poof, $$$.

I didnt change it and i got use to it over time.

I keep it off, since if I let the auto-attacks happen it will push my wave when I don't want it to, and occasionally instead of attacking a hero you could kill, the hero might turn and attack a nearby creep instead :/

Never auto attack. Nobody in their right mid uses it. Attack move is simply a superior option for a similar action in every situation.

I played with auto attack on until a few days ago, I think auto attack off is better, as you can basically auto attack by A clicking on the ground, so yeah. That's my opinion, don't hate me D:

Well, since I turned auto-attack off I don't know how did I play this game before. Last hitting became MUCH easier, you don't need to spam "S" anymore (for Sniper and Wisp this technique never worked, since the projectile goes without delay) or run back and forth; just sit back and click one single time. Not to mention, you no longer can suddenly walk off the trees while juking.

When running away it will cause you to turn around and hit minions, this is bad. I didn't know you could turn it off until my 3rd day of playing and definitely saved me multiple times.

Off, Not good for orb-walking, last hitting that much. But its personal preference, personally I prefer right clicking intensively instead of letting the computer do it for me.

I like to keep it off. It's better for last hitting and juking. Sometimes I fail because my hero decides that it's time to hit a creep when it's actually time to run.
