I just got Dota2 and i cant seem to connect to dota2 network. I have been trying for about 1 hour now and still haven't connected. Steam just had a maintenance thing. May that cause the long connection time?

yes most probably the same thing happened to me when i first started dota 2 ,,coincidence ..

It's like yes i got dota 2 lets play ,and when you start : WTF?How cant i enter,it is imp to be a srv problem right?

Mostl likely it's a maintanace,but if the problem persists dont hesitate to write here again and tell us if you cant enter.

Oh, and i DID start it yesterday (i was going to bed, but i just wanted to start it and THEN it worked :/ (But still not now)

Ok maybe its a maintanace on your side of the world,im european so you know,maybe the server in south asia,china or america dont work or where are you,dk otherwise i don't see any problems if you managed to start the game yesterday.

The game starts and when i get the background it says "Connecting to Dota2" or something

Very wierd had this only once,and i blame it on the maintanace issue or having prob with my internet wich obivisouly wasnt hapening cause all the other sutff was working,well just let's see after reinstalling the game if you can manage to play the game.

I can press play and update and stuff but i still just get the wall and the "Connecting to Dota2"

Yes the exact same problem,100% should dissapear after 1 day or smth like that,there isn't much you can do just 1 thing left.
Ask a norway dota 2 player if he can play right now,if not then your side of europe or your country has problems connecting to dota 2,this can be from different reasons,but it isn't smth from withint your pc.

Still doesn't work, but ill just wait and ask my friend if his works

^ Yeah, do that. Ask some Norwegian people who play Dota 2; if your friends don't find a forum or something
