I started playing just about a week ago and I'm just wondering if the "Abandoned" thingy in the player stats has any use at all??

Because there are so many leavers in the games that I played that it's like Garena all over again.

I've been playing HON and they have the "No Leavers" flag, is there something like this in Dota 2? or will public games be just as crappy as Garena?

The more abandons you have, the more loses also, which puts you into the leaver pool along with the other leavers so you can't bother anyone who's perspiring to play a good game.

That's a relief.. still, does matchmaking have the ability to filter the new accounts that might ruin the game and not match them up with the old ones?

New accounts = New beta keys = Hard to get = Unlikely worth it for a 2 day wait to get back to normal.
