But you can't compare DotA 1 with LoL, srsly there is nothing to compare.
DotA 1 is a Mod A MOD IN Wc3 ONLY and had more Players than some other games had, probably more than ( im sure of that ) LoL every had/ will have ;)

Besides, LoL is a wannabe-ambitious project, Guinsoo really disappointed me on this, they ain't even got cookies on LoL's side...
All the LoL-community bashing / trash-talking / wannabe objectively analyzing dota 2 and dota 1 stuff seem like last signs of remission of a lung-cancer. All that it is to me. Period.
Numbers relate how good a game is? Bullsh*t. They only show how many people play it. All that it is. Do not fear, Ice Frog and Valve are very forgiving, if LoL-fanboys choose to come to the brightest side, they'll welcome them arms wide open. We shall then gank.

This image reflects the importance of what we would call the "casual player" market. LoL's simplicity and accessibility is more effective in attracting new customers is the biggest driving force! I'm glad that it's begging larger and larger. I just wanted to say that it's wrong to think that those who play LoL are noobs.

^Agreed, some LoL pros are quite qualified for DoTA's competitive gaming.
