My favorite one is the quelling blade actually!

Tree chopping and +dmg to creeps is just so fun for me
I will usually buy it on every hero for no reason just cause I can juke with the tree chop:P (except kunkka who cant buy it lol )

Aghanim's Scepter,I always buys this if an aghanim's upgrade is available, always does the job for a useful upgrade on any ultimate, plus gives you +10 on stats and provides you with extra HP and MP pool

Power threads (PT)
I'm used to abusing the +8 stats for having more mana to cast spells, bigger damage, or to regen more mana & hp with bottle etc. There are numerous uses of PT and what matters is not the +30% AS but the fact that you can change stats and there is no cooldown for it! I always put PT on the slot that is binded to my mouse wheel, like that I can use the mouse wheel to switch from STR to INT or AGI.

Here are some examples of how PT can be useful(most of the time I set my PT to STR).

1) If you have threads you can spend less mana on spells because you increase your INT to increase the mana --> cast spells --> switch PT to original STR
2) You can heal more mana/hp with bottle if you switch your PT from INT/STR to agi (becuse your maximum hp/mana pool will decrease, thus it heals more as a proportion).
3) For example: you are SF (solo mid) and it is almost minute 10. You don't want to gank other lanes because enemy's T1 tower is at low HP, so what you do is switch PT to AGI to increase DPS (damage-per-second) output, allowing you to kill the tower faster than you normally would.
4)If you don't have enough mana to teleport (TP) you can alyways switch your threads from STR to INT to increase the current mana.
5) In order to heal up faster at the fountain you can switch PT to AGI to decrease maximum HP/MP.
6) You can heal up more HP/MP from Magic Stick if you switch PT to AGI.
7) Switching PT from AGI/MP to STR can increase your HP pool, use it when an enemy who is chasing you (given you are at low HP) is tower diving during early game.

My favorite item = Force staff

1.defensive mechanism : jump over the cliff or make further gap when retreating
2.offensive mechanism : push allied foward to get better position or pull ranged enemy heroes into the center of battle
3.Fun / ruiner : Push your allied to enemy fountain/tower....or push allied to death by push him to enemies position for easy rape
