| They haven't abbandoned the project. they just need more time to get all things right. But that means, in their case, we will get excellent game, which was worth waiting. |

| Yeah, i think that they announced it just to let us know that there is going to be a Dota 2, not to tell us that they are going to release it soon |

Makes sense since there's a lot of competition that came up recently. I read an article somewhere that DotA 2 will come out at the end of 2011. (wonder if that's the beta) |
