What do you think? Will the heroes be all the same or will valve (or Icefrog) add some new heroes and/or remove old ones?

If so, which ones will be the first to be removed?

But i would like to see complete set of DotA (1) heroes in DotA 2. Reason is, i think, obvious.

hh just joking, i don't have nothing personal vs him, but popularity tables talk to themselves. it's amongst most unpopular dota heroes. not my fault :/

Hehe, well I can't deny that. I most often try to swap or repick if I get him, but that's because I don't like the micro (even thou it's a piece of cake compared to such games as SC II). I think that goes for a lot of dotaplayers, that heroes which needs some micro for optimal use, aren't very popular in pubgames.

I generally don't like micro either, but I like to play Meepo!
Ofc it makes it a bit easier that they all have the same skills. ^^

But they're probably all gonna stay here, maybe some remakes and added heroes. =)

For obvious reasons, I think they should exclude or modify Techies.
He seems to be one of those heroes that everyone hates, regardless of which team he's on.
Although, fun to play.

well, currently, lawsuits are being filed against Valve. so, I think retaining the same set of Heroes for DotA2 is rather ridiculous. Unless, they want another lawsuit.

I thought Valve were the ones filing lawsuits against S2Games (Heroes of Newerth) ??
They probably shouldn't use the WCIII background and story though I guess.

It's so fckd up that HoN (S2) bought the rights for "Defense of the Ancients"...

well, I'm actually quite confused too. its said that s2Games bought the rights to DotA, but it some articles, it said that Valve did. so... I'm not really sure.

but on-topic, a new set of heroes would be really nice. That would make it more interesting to play.

i think they might remove certain heroes, i would not like to think of it.
Keep it a surprise. Besides i dont want to break myself trying to figure out which heroes are going to stay, how many ...... etc

visage is the most unpopular hero....
even icefrog already remake visage several time.....

about the techies....u right playing techies is fun but both ally or enemies hate it....

visage actually became very interesting hero, but the fact that he was very unpopular in the past, makes him unpopular in the present. myb we should add some official forum's quest like, win a game with visage and you ll get 500 forum points?

For me, this isn't good enough motivation
