The first image would be alright if not for the yellow color. I guess the second the first one is worse (you could also say that the second one is better Smile

).

IMO: Signatures distract the user, and instead of reading the post you end up looking at the sig ( Howlgram is totally right about that). Not only signatures serve as distraction, they also make each post longer, and you end up with 5 posts per page (exaggeraing here).

I think that we should not be allowed to have images in signatures as it is really flooding the viewing space. If sigs were to have text and links only, people would save time reading & answering (maybe not, but alteast it would look better).
