I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY COMP

I NEED TO START PROGRASMS,GAMES TWICE IN ORDER FOR THEM TO TURN ON...AND WHEN I FIRE THEM ON TWICE THEY START BUT I GOT UNPLAYABLE LAGS INGAME SO FAR IN SINGLPLAYER

CLUES SO FAR:WHEN I FIRST START THEM (OVER SHORTCUT OR DIRECTLY ON .EXE) THEY SHOW UP ON TASKMGR (TASK MANAGER) IN THE PROCESES BUT DON'T SHOW UP ON THE DESKTOP MINIMZED,MAXIMIZED NOR ANYTHING...
I CAN START THEM ONLY OVER THRID PARTY SOFTWARES LIKE GARENA...ONLY WAY TO PLAY WC3 IN SINGLEPLAYER AND MULTIPLAYER IS OVER GARENA....

PLEASE HELP...

Example : WC3 stand-by at menu will consume 50,000 kb memory on tskmgr
in your computer how much wc3.exe consume memory ?

check your CPU usage ?

check your wc3.exe file size ? if it different myb infected by virus

Yes it's probably a virus

you dont understand...it doesn't evn come to menu at first time...on first try it just stands idle and consumes my CPU work memory,etc.

system restore...well...didnt work,that was the first thing i tryed...

and i know it's not virus because i FORMATED the whole disk,installed new version of windows 7 and downloaded ONLY warcraft 3, so no other programs but windows 7 and warcraft....yeah...i love dota so much <3

I had a similar problem , remember it was because of the version, didn't install them correctly, had to slowly download each version and then install it one by one, but don't know if it's your case too. Also don't think it's because you have low disk space either so ...dunno what to say, are you sure your PC supports your OS[operating system]? Maybe that can be...anyone else other suggestions?

First of all, war 3 exe can't be run twice. When you first run it, it doesn't open like you say. But from the second try, you do not open second exe, you only activate first exe from first try. I had similar problem, and not just with war 3. Problem was virus. Download Avira Antivir and run it. After that, download cclenaer to clear system for multiple errors. After that, defrag your hard disk. And everything was fine after that.

lol...fixed it...problem wasn't the virus, and for ava i'm chuck norris war3.exe or "frozen throne.exe" as found in task manager proceses was found twice....but forgot to take a pic and now is fixed so i can't tae pic...there was kinda

problem was my hard disk spin speed...O.o
i have SATA HDD and my setup was confuigured to ATA...in short...i lowered rotatio speed AND Mb packages it can send per second O.o (not even I understand all of this crap) but it fucking worked.. YEY

oh...and i don't use antivirus...before my comp crashed lots and lots of times...easier one is to just format your disk....and about viruses...70% of "virus reports" are infact already instaled programs passed through USB or CD to your comp (A.K.A. copy-paste a game) AND registry settings...

It's pretty much true about the copy paste = "Virus"

AntiVir is really good, but it has this super mega annoying popups in your desktop every nothing x3

try this....your friend buy a pc game...you really want it but can't buy (any reason whatsoever),you copy the installed game on your USB,then transfer it to your comp,almost ALL antivirus programs will recognize it as a friggin virus....anyhow...antivirus are for computer newbies ^^
