Hey im totally pumped to see the Dota 2 release; I started playing LoL in college, and after awhile a friend who also plays LoL showed me DOTA, and it looked really cool so I have been trying to find out as much as I can about Dota2

I haven't played dota1 at all, seen it some; I have played LoL for about 9 months or so.

You should start playing right away before the new game comes out.. you got a lotta catching up to do buddy better get to it.

well I appreciate the candor; I would enjoy playing but if I remember correctly, you have to buy warcraft3 and the expansion and some downloadable content and that all sounds complex and cumbersome and idk if it is worth doing all that when Dota2 is coming in 4 months or so.

If you know how to get it easy I would be glad to learn.

It's ironic that you well get your Dota the same time Dota2 is shown It would have been better for you to get asap, but it's better late then never. I hope you will enjoy DoTA the same way i did !
