Well this thread is about Dota 2. Do you know how that Dota 2 will work the same way as CS because it will also use Steam?

im concerned about that too. i REALLY hope they have nothing to do (which i think that wont happen -_-), i will be really angry if dota2 must use steam. And obviously Valve will love to have 1,000,000+ new users to their steam sht -.-

^ As far as i know, all Valve's multiplayer games use Steam, so i guess Dota 2 will use Steam too.

and steam telling you that you got a steam achievement, like if one even cares. and more steam ads about super low priced videogames that make me even sadder cuz i aint got no credit card to buy em.

Than i can't tell nothing, but we still waiting to see what valve do whit dota 2!

I want to ask something....if someone not have internet connection and still wants to play dota2 in his/her home can play with the AI maps as classic dota???

we still dk exactly if u can play without internet or not but it will be great to play with no internet just for fun with ai's

Can't really say yet if its a good idea or not.It sounds great cause ye,you won't play with a arithmetical disadvantage but it really depends on how the bot plays.

There are a pros and cons to this....
Pros: -No rmking cause of leavers
-More people don't leave because of the first leaver
Cons: -The bot might end up feeding
-Unable to communicate with the bot
-To unpredictable to know if he will gang or not

I can't come up with more stuff atm. There more cons then pros if anyone else got an idea say it so it will be easier to discuss if the AI replacement idea is good or not.

the ideea of replacing an leaver with an ai is rather bad than good because:-the ai cannot coordinate with team
-he wil never asist in gangs,doesnt chat
-hes very predictable and there is a 70% of feeding on the ohter hand replecing it with another real player(a sub maybe) with the same psr will do great aldo there is a disatvantage :the sub wil get a hero with level 14 for ex and items,maybe the items sucks or bad spells put so he needs at least 20 min to rebalance the game still just my opinion

Well for the cons you just copied what I said but the sub is a good idea like before game starts you have extra spots for subs which will take over the character if the main player left...but I think waiting for a leaver could be boring so he would entertainment like some mini-DotA with the other subs.

well yeah the cons i just coppied got no ther ideea sorry about that on the thing that the subs should play mini dota is a great idea but there should be a rule like when game statrts sub need to be online and watching so when a leaver appears the sub automaticaly replaces it and if the sub leave while the game is stil playng he gets -psr or some bad thing for doing so,and while the wait for leavers (wich should not be the main ideea,the main ideea is no leavers) they can play either other w3 old maps or see replay of games or play mini dota or stuff like that to entertain them

Yes and in the corner there should be the real game so if they want they can see what's happening... I don't think this idea is in the idea forum but I'm to tired atm to look if it is.
