Yes comrades, a CLAN. That is going to be our first line of defense against games. Games created with only one purpose, to brainwash our heads. By now comrades, you should've guessed what i am talking about. I am not talking about Call of duty 7 nor diablo 3 (awesome games btw). i am talking about Heroes of newerth, League of legends, Demigod.yes, i know. The threat is great, but if we stay together, and REFUSE to play those pesky games...we might have a chance to win at this war... Dota 2 is coming out soon. Unfortunately i don't share your enthusiasm and i don't think that Dota2 is coming out soon (depends on you defenition of "soon" ). Anyway, HoN is good alternative for Dota but since it is not working well atm (DDoS attacks) not as many people play it. LoL is doing its job; it is attracting more people do the "dota-like genre" for its simplicity and when Dota2 comes out, most of those people will switch to Dota2 from LoL and HoN...

I played lol and hon once or twice but I hate tutorials and cartoonish graphics and at the game it was like a baby game as you said.

In one thing u are wrong! On HoN effects are to strong, and when is fight 5v5 u lose your hero's!

You are exaggerating the effect of graphics, even if they HoN's graphics look over done and LoL looks cartoonish, they both are good alternatives to Dota... Just because you (probably) played Dota before HoN and got used to the graphics it doesnt mean that Dota graphics are ''better''. There is no ''better'' you have different types of graphics that people like. For instance some of my friends play HoN because they think that Dota graphics are too ''dull'' compared to HoN.

When i said they are equally good that did not mean they have better graphics, you only saw one side of it.

offtopic: I wonder how WCIII sounds are cuz i've never played Dota with sounds (i usually listen to music or use teamspeak/skype when playing dota)

yea, i agree with bazinga on this. although u have valid points too LL. Argues about which game has the biggest C**k have become boring. Everything depends on personal style of the player. I hate Lol's lame and Hon's uber graphics. Others don't. Period.

OT now:

Dota 2 will eat Hon players first. Lol players which played dota before will then be consumed next. Just browse through some of the lol and hon official forums.. even their own members are starting threads with titles like: will we die, who will pass to dota 2 and so on. pretty funny to read

Must be pretty sad for the admins of the forums If i was in their position i would delete any thread like that because the more people discuss it and think about, the higher are the chances of it happening. Also, a HoN/LoL player is most likely to move to Dota2 knowing that he is not the only one...

Im pretty sure that Valve will hire people to bullshit on those dota like games forums saying how awful HoN-LoL is and why the should move to Dota2

I agree whit avalon that dota 2 will eat HoN player,because HoN only have good graphics, and look at game portal 1,2 counter strike source have perfect grapihcs, but i'm not sure that dota 2 eat LoL players chinese and japanese jizz to much on LoL! xD http://www.own3d.tv/ Look at this maybe 50 streaming have every time where u come, of these 50 streaming 40 streaming are LoL! HoN is already dead xD and just the gameplay i tried on Free Beta was worst than Dota, i didnt even wanted to keep playing HoN,that is my opinion

But hey, look at this, even with the Dota's WIII Graphics in some mad team fight with those heores that have big AoE awesome looking spells 8D you can loose your hero of sight!! i cant imagine how awful it would be to be in a team fight with HoN graphs that are like 4x more visual.
i guess that ppl like them because in single and slow fights they do look better, hehe.

I dont agree with you.. I think DotA, HoN and LoL are good games and I like them very much all 3 of them . But there is no doubt that I will go play DotA 2 when it is released. And most of the HoN and LoL players will come too... No matter which game they like more.. will it be HoN DotA or LoL they will still come and enjoy DotA 2 because DotA 2 will Be LEGEN wait for it DARY.. LEGENDARY ( I hope )

no matter if you like HoN , LoL , Wc3 Dota ....all of you will try DOTA2 and then after you can decide which one is the real winner ...

for personal opinion
LoL : I don't like it both its gameplay or cartoonish thing

HoN : Not Like it but for the first time i play it many time ( I like eye-candy visual effect even it will confuse you ) one more i don't like its hero build/skill
example : Hero Deadwood : How can a STR hero has Nuke Ulti like laguna / finger and also has area disable

Wc3 Dota : original taste...limited by wc3 engine no reconnect,etc (i just shocked when see many weird bug in wodota funny)

Demigod : Epic fail
