been playing dota since 2007, every match is like a new game, its always different heros, different builds, different items, different players, cant really predict the opponents movements, NO match is the same teamworks always different
"Clan Kush" was what i was in on b.net in wcIII. lol i just played some dota games last nite and i choose it over LoL




this hit me unexpectedly, just found out about dota 2 this morning. i cant believe the dude Steve "Pendragon" Mescon filed a conflicting trademark. anyone got info on this guy? all i know is that he made the dota website and i didnt see his name PENDRAGON anywhere on the loading screens, just Icey.

anyways.. now that ice frog is back in bussiness... will people still play hon? i heard its good n better then LoL forsure and all my friends jumped from LoL to HoN

To me LoL seems unbalanaced and the heros arnt flexiable, this one tank cant do anything but be a punching bag "alistar" and i tried so many builds with this char becuase he was fun... at first

i saw master yi, my homie came up with an int build where his alpha strike would do 700 on each person, but.. still wasnt all that great

in dota i dont know about hon.. but u can make int heros into tanks, str heros into strong int casters and aoe, agi heros into tanks, of course and casters, loved how u can turn a hero into anything

im looking forward to playing dota2, i wont play hon until i get my hands on dota 2

anyways feel free to share your criticism, thoughts and feelings about hon LoL dota n Dota2

I have tried HoN when it was beta, but not enough to get a feeling how it was.
I have heard LoL should be balanced, but I have no idea if that is true anyway.
I'm just waiting for dota2, and playing dota meanwhile

HoN is basically DotA, but run by S2 Games instead of IceFrog. It also doesn't have all of the DotA Heroes, but has HoN original heroes.
HoN is faster than DotA and HoN in terms of visual speed.
I heard LoL was imbalanced. So much talk about how much Riot cares only about money instead of character balance.

yea im waiting for dota2 too, im back with one of my friends playing dota. if i had a better comp(which wont arrive until next year) i would have started playing hon but now that i heard dota2 is coming around i dont wanna even touch hon until i try out dota2
