yes, it makes shiva's effect double, but I think the 2nd proc will just do the dmg if done to the same unit after it was affected by the first shiva's guard
not so practical with BTs though, the more practical way is blink dagger
overall, it's not effective against teamfights because the primary objective of shiva's is to slow your enemies

Yea I suppose, it would be nice to see it with a blink dagger too

I thought Shiva's guard shoots particles outwards, if you miss the particles by blinking inwards you won't get slowed like in DotA 1. So if you BoT only the gfx effects follow but the real damage is not dealt

^Like the topic he posted says, it is intended.

The particles that have not collided with your enemies will follow you to the other side of the map. If you move, one particle moves slower than the other to ensure that it is entirely centered around you.... If you came from DotA 1 you will fully understand how the mechanics work as you ascend from DotA 1 to DOTA2

Old trick in DotA. Recently, it also works in Icarus Dive, but I've been using it with Blink and TP a while now. I never tried it with Force Staff, but I'm sure it should work.

QUESTION: It works with Ball Lightning and Waveform?
