Hi.

Since the new replay system is on its way and old replays doesnt work after this week's patch, I decided to capture some frags and put them in a video for my friend. Its all about pudge now Smile posted here aswell, original at GFX section.

I havent seen dota2 fragmovies yet so its first in its class I guess. It has minor effects and fast music, I hope you enjoy.

You had descent moments and the choice of music suites the action but the camera close-ups were unnecessary because it ignores the positions. I would rather watch hooks with more of the screen focused on a larger area so we can see the movement of the enemy. I'm not saying you did that all the time, but some of the hooks were shown pretty badly; e.g. camera is focused on pudge only and you don't the actual distance travelled by hook from Pudge to enemy.

Thank you for the feedback; understandable.

I didn'nt know what the frags were like, since my friend only gave me the replay files and times where the frags would occur. I didn't have the time nor the excitement to start the replay again and fast forward to minute 45 again to get that hook with a better angle (as the replay system doesnt allow you to rewind). Just a fast compilation Smile

Looking forward to see whats the new replay system like; better videos in the future I hope.

Does anyone think that Dota 2 has higher hook velocity than in DotA?? Also it seems that there is less delay between casting and launching the hook - it's more instant that the one in DotA.
Never played Pudge in Dota 2 so I can't tell. What do you guys think about it?

Have a higher velocity,that's for sure what i have seen while playng pudge in dota 2but i nevenr managed to see the difference between the cast time and the hook i mean theyre like the same for dota 1 aswell.

Important info i only played 4 games with pudge in dota 2 (ALL WON FCK YEAH).

So i hope i'm not wrong in any place,it does seem to have more veolicity in my opinion.

Really nice video. Scenes and choice of music are nice, although there are some unecesary zooms. 8.5/10

Pudge was among my most played heroes in DotA and is in Dota 2. They are pretty different. For example, there is no more hook curving ability.
