Are the movements in Skyrim much more fluid than in Elder Scrolls IV?

Skyrim still has botched up movements in a lot of areas, except now those movements are more of bugs than just shitty animation. In oblivion they were shitty and it was on purpose, just the limitations at the time. Everything in the game is smooth. If you dissect it you realize it is mostly clever textures creating this amazing feel, but who cares? Feels amazing, is amazing. In short: it is much more fluid than Oblivion.

Hmmm, how is the fighting style in Skyrim compared to Elder Scrolls IV? I saw one combo of brawl and slashing in the Demo given by Bethsa. Is Skyrim's combo more elaborate than Elder Scrolls IV?

A whole lot better gosu. Your charged attacks have a chance to finish off enemy's and depending on what weapon you use, it's a different finishing type example with dual blades, you stick both of the swords into their chest and lift them up and throw it down. You can even chop people's heads off Very Happy

and then kick it around like a soccer ball. Also during sneak, if you remain undetected and attack from behind, you slice their throat for an insta kill if your damage is high enough. There are no more hotkeys for your items or spells (?) but during fights you can pause the fight and change what you are wielding and use potions which comes in handy in tight spots. If you bring the persons hp down low enough they say they had enough and run away or kneel on the slow, recovering and then you can finish them. I don't know about blocking since I only dual wield my swords but from what I see, you can stagger people and leave them open for an attack. If people only use a weapon to block, you can repeatedly hit them until they give way. If you need more info, lemme know because for now, back to SKYRIM!
