Ok so.. space.

"The Universe is a constantly growing entity.
It is never ending"

Thats what they say... by they i mean most people majority.

They say before the universe there was nothing?
right, think about that for a moment.
No it doesn't make sense does it?

So if the universe is never ending how does it continue to grow?
They also say that there is nothing outside of the universe.....right.
so then what does the universe grow into?
How can something never ending grow? Especially if there is nothing outside of it?

Ok the easiest way to explain this is through a quote...that i cant find now....
ok basically Mr Stephan Hawkins says that ( this is not in his words, my own to try and explain the concept) the universe is never ending.
Its basically shaped like the inside of a sphere. If you had to move straight for long enough you would eventually end up back where you started.
Does that make sense? i mean am i explaining it properly for you to understand.

To be honest i trust Mr Stephen Hawkins opinion more then anyone else out there but it still feels like things simply just dont add up.

If you want to read the book about all this. Its Stephen HAwkins, a Brief history of time... or something like that. It should be easy to find on Wikipedia ( the right name).

i am fairly open minded so if any one can give me a proper explanation on this or correct me.
Please dont be shy.
I really enjoy debates about things like this although i am slightly stubborn.

you got my attention.

don't know from where i should start and how to explain on banal level so everyone can understand my opinion. anyway, from the physics facts and theories we know at this moment, space can't be and is not never-ending entity. at the start point, our space was simple spot myb not bigger than golf ball. but golf ball with huge density and inexplicable energy of all galaxies, planets and stars which exist at this point. (and are yet to be created).

imagine a rock that is thrown into a lake; cause of rock's "explosion" with water and it's potential and kinetic energy, waves are created and expanded. harder you throw the rock, bigger waves will be created which will expand over bigger area. Space also exploded, i don't know why, with energy of trillions rocks which you thrown into the lake. and space is expanding exactly as waves on water are. once the starting energy of explosion is wasted, you assume that space will stop expanding. logically.

about hawking's theory about returning to same spot; imagine a space being a huge sphere, as he said. and you are the fellow which is moving on the inner surface of the sphere in one direction. eventually, after indecisive time of walking, you will come to that spot.. nothing more to be said here.

i can only make cross reference with following thing: imagine you are in closed and simple square room with metal and reflective walls. and guess what, you have laser gun. you, cause of unknown reason, fire that gun. laser from that gun will keep traveling all over the room, bouncing of the walls and will eventually come to it's original spot. and will kill you. although this is not perfect example for space thing, but can show you that it's possible to end up to same spot if you are travelling in the same direction in closed space.

Ok do maybe its not a higher grade question but it definitely is an interesting one.

nah, it's nothing too complicated although it sounds bit fancy.

anti matter sounds boring, simple, and senseless xD however time traveling regarding wormholes (also called Einstein-Rosen Bridge ) sounds very fancy and interesting, hehehe. String theory... i guess i got to know a little more about other stuff before understanding this one, well, just guessing

anti matter is not something boring. you are aware of the fact that with todays technology, if we put all fuel in and on the world in one space ship, we would not be able to get to nearest star. but few kilos of anti mater can bring us there and back. and i read that in one random science article, so it's nothing wrong. as far as they know

actually, america is producing anti-matter fuel, at this very moment. but production of it is extremely expensive.
