Dota 2 visuals Empty
PostSubject: Dota 2 visuals

hey.. didn't know where else to place this so here it is

What i personally would like to in Dota 2, is the actual area being affected by spells. Now what i mean is for instance, enigma's ulti. It would be so sweet to actually see trees being torn from the ground and water actually rising and going towards the mid of the ulti. or when someone casts a spell or stun that fly's in the air, that the grass and stuff will be pulled or torn. now this would be a real big change from all the dota copy's with their bad graphics.

I think it would take too much time to implement those mechanics. The game would certainly look more realistic but i think that it would not be as smooth as it is now.

not only would environement details like that cause more gaming and battle disruption it would ruin the idea of valve making the game available for low grade computers, details like that eat alot of CPU/RAM Data to create such effects, such as breaking walls, tree's , etc. thats why games like bf bad company 2 require such high grade computers

valve are doing there best, and good on em to do this, to provide the game for high grade computers, and those really really old computers that can only run the original dota. so everyone can play the game
