I was surprised that I haven't found any realtime chat so I thought it may be a good idea to bring that up
Quakenet is really popular nowadays (as it was like 10 years ago ^^) and as probably most of you know is used by most gamer sites
not only for chatting but also for better support or coordinate a tournament. (Dunno how well Steam Groups work for that)

We have facebook g+ twitter steam and we have a shoutbox which is for talking in real time.

Well thought it was worth mentioning it ^^
But with facebook g+ twitter steam shoutbox there are really enough ways.
