Friendly for noobs? Empty
PostSubject: Friendly for noobs?

Hi people I'm very interested in Dota 2
however, I have neither experience LoL, Dota1, or HoN
The only reason I am interested in it is because of two reasons
1) Valve is making it
2) My friends love Hon and Dota 1 and they recommend that I buy this game

But I was just wondering is it easy to learn?
Is this game aimed for the more experienced players?
Will a able to stand a chance with more experienced players?
and How long does it take to at least get a good idea on how to play the game properly?
plz help a noob Sad

Thanks!

well, DotA has a lot of elements. so it will be hard at first. but it depends on your level of learning.

First of all, welcome to the forum! Smile

Second, you don't need to worry, DotA 1 was easy to learn and DotA 2 will just be easier. But all in all, it's nothing you will learn over night, but that's the main fun of it. But don't worry for nothing, we will make guides as soon as the game comes out, so your beginning will be very easy. Smile

I recommend that you download AI DotA 1 map and play it for a bit, just to get an idea of what's going on on the screen.

Welcome Captianrock!
As Fiyah and Avalon said, at the beginning, it'll be little hard but you just have to play and read guides (we have category about guides). DotA always gets new players and they have same problems like you so don't worry, you aren't only one who want to start play now Very Happy
