I am a big fan of the Death Metal and Melodic Death Metal genres.

My favourite Death Metal band is Hypocrisy. Others that I don't listen to much are Suicide Silence, Heaven Shall Burn (hello, Endzeit), Sonata Arctica, Scar Symmetry, Dia Psalma, Evergrey and FORBIDDEN LIFEFORM (hello, Avalon).

I also listen to Cradle of Filth (Black Metal), Pendulum (Electronic), Celldweller (epic?) and Children of Bodom (Ex-Metal).

My favourite genre of music is Melo-Death Metal, however.
Favourite such bands include As I Lay Dying, Amorphis, In Flames, Haste The Day, Shadows Fall and Soilwork.

But my favourite bands of all time are Melo-Death bands Sonic Syndicate, and their "outcrop" The Unguided.
I'm quite familiar with the (SVEN2K IS GAY!!! ) lyricist and harsh vocalist of The Unguided, Richard Sjunnesson (formerly of Sonic Syndicate), and on August 2nd, he mailed me my copy of their EP, Nightmareland, autographed by the entire band, straight from Sweden, with their two posters at no extra charge.

Pathfinder & Green Eyed Demon (Nightmareland EP)
Betrayer of the Code (Single; remake of the same song by Sonic Syndicate's previous name, Fallen Angels)

So all I can offer is this:

I'm a guitarist myself and I play some soft music but a lot of Thrash Metal and Heavy Metal. My favourite songs to play are "Here Without You" by Three Doors Down (soft) and "Master Of Puppets" by Metallica (not-so-soft), along with some random thrash metal pieces.

I used to be a songwriter but I cannot sing for shit so I started (SVEN2K IS GAY!!! ) writing poetry and I consider myself to be pretty good, but not as good as the lyricists of some bands. They are just amazing.

I like a lot of "evil" lyrics, but I prefer love lyrics, especially when they apply to me.

I'm from a country in the Caribbean where people rarely listen to my style of music, and 99.99999929999999949999999999% of people from here are mentally handicapped. I don't tell them anything about the bullshit they listen to, but when criticised, I just say, "I have learnt to appreciate something in music, which you are unable to appreciate because you are shallow and narrow-minded."

For me, the most important things in music are:
- Entertainment
- Musical professionalism
- Lyrics (most important, to me)

Some people HERE just look for one aspect of music- the entertainment. The lyrics are the least articulate things I've ever heard, and the music can be made better with a few bottles, a stick and a guitar.

Yet they insult me. Pathetic.

I may seem like a Metalhead, but I like some soft bands too, namely Dead By Sunrise (Linkin Park's singer's side project) and Three Days Grace.

Nothing much to say, other than I'm God.

Their style changed some much, and the album was from what i expected. Where is the good old stuff like "faint", "from the inside", "one step closer" etc...

Well true the newer albums are gettin worst but I still love the songs

Check out Dead By Sunrise's 2009 album "Out Of Ashes" since it's better than Linkin Park's current rubbish. I love them. Same LP singer.

black metal, what im saying, is that i do not like those repetitive and "uncreative" black metal bands (usually all of them are like the same satanic bored bands, hehe), i think the same for most of the death metal bands out there (the ones that usually have the disgusting cover flows, lol xD). I like much more Atmospheric Black metal, that is what i meant, have you heard it? (i like this songs where you can feel them, and the mood of this is "sad")
Guitar, well, there are special stickers for guitars, i thought they were good xP oh well, its still insane

oh, and sonic syndicate arent that bad, but i dont like it that much when bands switch between the growling and the pitching, it just... is not good, is not good...
