Hello, fellow D2P guitarists. My name is Brian, better known as GravedamN, and this thread is for the purpose of facilitating any guitar-related discussions, news or problems.

I am a guitarist/song-writer/poet. I've been playing guitar since I was 15 and I play a lot of varying genres of music, such as heavy metal, thrash metal, alternative rock, other soft rock, some jazz, etc. I'm considered as a decent guitarist, but nothing high-skilled.

I own a shitty classical acoustic and a sexy electric guitar. Here is my Jackson KVX10 King V:





My favourite songs to play, in descending order, are:
1) 'Here Without You' by Three Doors Down
2) 'Master Of Puppets' by Metallica
3) Two random thrash metal licks
4) 'Tears Don't Fall Acoustic' by BFMV
5) 'One Last Breath' by Creed


I am currently learning 'Tears Don't Fall' by BFMV.


My future learning plans are:
1) 'Wasted Years' by Iron Maiden
2) 'Sweet Child O' Mine' by Guns n' Roses
3) 'River Flows In You' by Yiruma (guitar version; click this link)
4) 'Are You Dead Yet?' by Children Of Bodom

Of course, I occasionally make up my own music, but nothing special.

If you have an electric guitar but can't play very well, and you are interested in some simple rock music that are fun to play, I suggest 'In Bloom' and 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' by Nirvana.

Finally, my favourite guitarists are Paul Gilbert and Slash. Others include Yngwie Malmsteen, Marty Friedman and Alexi Laiho.

my favorite rif which i was learning aprox 6 hours per day over few days

No, it's a Jackson King V, inspired by the Flying V series.
