Hello folks!

Looking for a fun and friendly clan that won’t just randomly fall apart overnight? A family that features a family friendly environment to game in? People to play with to escape the horrors that are solo queue? Well, The Art of Warfare (TAW) might be for you!

Allow me to tell you a little about TAW. It is an established and structured gaming community that features over 1150 members spread out around the world. Founded in 2001, TAW has worked hard to establish a reputation within communities for various different FPS, RTS, RPG, and MMO games. It has maintained a large player base for a long time due to its organization and will be around quite a time yet!

Currently the largest division within our Vanguard unit, the Dota 2 division is growing quickly! We’ve successfully spun-up both the NA and EU battalions, with both having two practice times per week, as well as many opportunities to play with others during the week! For the NA side of things, our practice times are 10pm EST on Mondays and Thursdays. For the EU side of things, the practices are at 7:00pm GMT on Mondays and Thursdays. During these practices, we arrange in-houses, while (at least for the NA side of things at the moment), watches on and offers advice and critiques for all involved.

While it’s impossible to say the skill level of the Dota 2 division overall at the moment, TAW divisions historically have a spread between members that are high in rank, down to members that are ranked low by their respective matchmaking system. Our divisions accept all skill levels, so long as you want to improve and have fun!

Within the clan, we utilize the TeamSpeak platform (http://www.teamspeak.com/) to communicate outside of the game (as well as often times while in game due to the superior nature of TS compared to in-game VOIP.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 15 years
  
• Must be friendly and be willing to participate in a family oriented atmosphere that features a high diversity of members
  
• Must be willing to attend two practices a week, or let staff know if going to miss
  
• Have a working mic
  
• Be willing to follow a Code of Ethics
  
• Willing to have FUN!

Ive been apart of TAW for almost two years now. I must say that Ive never had more fun with a clan. If you are looking for a active clan with friendly people who are willing and ready to teach new players then i would say TAW is a good place for you.

Thanks for all the positive words on our group! The OP has been updated to reflect the successful spin-up of the EU battalion within the Dota division, and we've added an additional practice time for the NA battalion (with two for the EU as well).

Unfortunately this is a requirement as it's the main form of communication we use in TAW, through either TeamSpeak or in-game chat.

After playing with TAW for about 3 months I am easily twice as good and have had a ton of fun learning and playing with the clan members. TAW is easily the most fun clan I have played in and there is always someone online to play a game with. If you want to get better or just want to have fun I would highly suggest checking out TAW.
